What we’re looking for:

Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Product, the Product Manager will be accountable for a roadmap of capabilities that will help InStride scale innovative workforce education solutions across all of our users: corporate partners, academic partners, working adult learners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly collaborate across product lines and partners and is passionate about building solutions to help our business grow. The role requires a combination of strategic problem solving, analytical prowess, and cross-functional leadership.

As the role will likely focus on technical product pods, this Product Manager must be comfortable operating deeply in technical problem spaces – partnering closely with engineering to drive platform, architecture, and internal tooling initiatives – while translating that work into durable business and user outcomes.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of product management or similar experience, preferably in edtech or HR tech
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Experience with agile software development practices and experience crafting epics, user stories, building agile processes, backlog management, and roadmap planning
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to platform, infrastructure-adjacent, or internal product initiatives (e.g., APIs, internal tools, system integrations, migrations).
  • Comfortable context-switching between deeply technical problem spaces and customer- or partner-facing feature development.
  • Experience leading technical conversations with less technical internal and external stakeholders (e.g., corporate and/or higher education leaders)
  • Understands the value of strong documentation, knowledge management, and impact measurement
  • Enjoys tackling open-ended, ambiguous problems and delving into new topics, domains, and techniques; can process a large amount of information and distill into recommendations
  • “No job too small” attitude / “roll up sleeves” mentality; proactive with a bias for speed and action; able to handle multiple, competing (and sometimes unexpected) demands

How you will create impact:

Product development and execution

  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch, ensuring timely execution and high-quality delivery
  • Accountable for a roadmap of features and capabilities to ensure a scalable and high-quality experience for learners and/or corporate partners
  • Lead product work for pods focused on technical initiatives, including internal support tools, partner eligibility management, core platform/API evolution, and front-end framework migration.
  • Partner closely with engineering to define scope, sequence work, manage dependencies, and make informed tradeoffs that balance delivery, scalability, and technical quality.
  • Ensure technical initiatives are clearly tied to business outcomes, operational efficiency, or future product capabilities.
  • Lead partnership with other departments to ensure proper triage, review and prioritization of feature and/or bug requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Define, track, and report on key product metrics; leverage data analytics and user research to guide decisions and to continuously improve product performance and user experience
  • Support exploration and go-to-market of new business solutions and features in collaboration with other teams, including representing the product team in strategic partnership conversations

Understanding of the market and business

  • Maintain a solid understanding of the problems and needs of working adult learners and employer partners, by proactively reviewing and analyzing available market data and internal data (e.g., A/B testing, learner survey data, platform usage data) and seeking opportunities to obtain firsthand learnings (e.g., watch Gong recordings of sales calls, join/lead user experience interviews)
  • Translate market and business needs into product solutions and features

AI Access is one of two central pillars of Cloudflare’s Act 4 (the other is Agentic Commerce). As bot traffic rises and human traffic declines, publishers and service providers lose the ad and subscription revenue that funds the open web. Without a new model, the economic incentive to create original content may decline or even disappear.

We help Cloudflare’s customers embrace the Agentic Web by making their content and services available to AI agents on their terms — open to any bot, gated behind payment, or anywhere in between. Help us build a better internet by ushering in a new business model for it.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the strategy and roadmap across a suite of products that help content creators protect, value, and earn compensation for their work, and adjacent AI Access products
  • Deliver product specifications, prototypes, product positioning, and high-impact launches
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Research, and GTM to ship at high velocity
  • Work with Partnerships and BD to define the new business model for the open web
  • Represent the product externally with publishers, AI labs, and developers

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years as a PM in infrastructure, developer tools, or AI/ML.

    • Developer-facing experience required; data, crawling, or search is a strong plus
  • A strong communicator who is comfortable with ambiguity

  • Technically literate — you don’t need to write Rust, but you should be able to push back on a tech lead on the merits of a particular direction

The role

We are looking for a proactive Product Manager to help us scale our capacity to solve meaningful client problems. Your experience

Essential

  • You have at least 3 years of directly applicable PM experience with a strong portfolio of complex B2B or SaaS applications
  • You're highly organized and self-managing, able to structure your own work and prioritize effectively
  • You are comfortable in technical discussions with developers and familiar with some programming and query languages for the purposes of prototyping and research
  • You'd rather ship and learn than search for perfect solutions, and you're energized by ambiguity and back yourself to figure things out as you go

What You Will Build

4. Prototype products yourself

You do not need to be a traditional full-stack developer, but you must be comfortable building or assembling prototypes and working tools with AI-assisted development. Relevant tools include Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, n8n, Zapier, Airtable, Supabase, Vercel, and the Google Workspace stack.

5. Work with engineers for complex builds

For more complex projects, you will work with the CTO and software engineers who handle serious backend work, APIs, data architecture, security, payments, and production-grade implementation. You will still own the product layer: the problem, the spec, the scope, the roadmap, the acceptance criteria, and user validation.

6. Drive adoption — a top priority of this role

The Product Manager 2 is an expert of their product charter and is responsible for independently managing the product life cycle all the way from ideation and planning through to the development, delivery, and enhancement of Resi Studio, the central software interface all customers use to access and manage Resi streaming, AI clips, and on-demand products.

The successful candidate must possess deep technical domain fluency in media processing and web streaming. In this role, you will independently break down complex video workflows into intuitive user interfaces, evaluate data-backed solutions, and develop a mid-term strategic vision that supports both our core faith-based market and flexible entry into new enterprise verticals.

  • Compensation Range: $99,506 - $110,562, depending on location.

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What You’ll Do:

  • Cultivate a definitive understanding of customer experiences, challenges, and goals within the Studio interface; conduct proactive discovery with church tech directors and volunteers to optimize volunteer-driven workflows while evaluating requirements for expansion into corporate and non-profit markets.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, UI/UX Design, and QA to define requirements for highly technical capabilities, including A/V streaming configurations, cloud media processing, AI video clipping, and automated on-demand publishing workflows.
  • Analyze complex metrics from product, support, and sales databases to evaluate data trends, determine feature adoption, identify shifting user behaviors, and proactively deliver data-backed recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Own and execute comprehensive product launches for features within the Studio charter, partnering with Product Marketing to build distinct value propositions for volunteer tech teams while testing messaging for new business sectors.
  • Serve as a collaborative bridge between core engineering domains and customer-facing teams, leading retrospectives, driving process improvements, and communicating prioritization choices clearly across the product organization.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Media & Broadcast Domain Fluency: Possess at least three years of mandatory experience within audio/video streaming, web broadcasting, media compression standards (e.g., H.264, HEVC, AV1), live event production workflows, or video SaaS applications.
  • Product Management Craft: Demonstrated expertise with 3–5 years in software product management, specifically overseeing B2B SaaS platforms or content management systems (CMS).
  • Problem Solving & Autonomy: Proven ability to independently transform ambiguous technical constraints into clear, actionable requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Influence & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills used to lead customer-facing discussions, support sales prospect calls, and champion product initiatives across internal departments.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent practical work experience.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer will be required. This role consistently operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role but may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, or standing as necessary.
