We are seeking a hands-on Head of Data Analytics to lead our data initiatives and drive clear, measurable business value from our data. In this role, you will be leading our data analytics strategy, empowering both our internal teams and our global network of brands and retailers with actionable insights.
You will lead a small, multidisciplinary team, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Executive leadership to build scalable data solutions and identify operational improvement opportunities.
Lead Data Analytics Strategy: Define and execute JOOR’s analytics strategy, aligning it directly with company goals, product roadmaps, and revenue targets.
Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, and lead the analytics and data engineering team.
Product & Business Analytics: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate analytical models and insights directly into the JOOR platform.
Internal Business Intelligence: Oversee the development of executive dashboards, KPI tracking, and automated reporting systems to give stakeholders clear visibility into business health (GMV, user engagement, retention).
Data Governance & Quality: Champion data integrity. Lead the team to define a scalable data architecture, accurate pipelines, and stringent data governance protocols.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/management role.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R. Deep experience with modern data stack technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran) and BI/visualization tools (e.g., Periscope, Looker, Tableau).
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable business insights for C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in B2B SaaS, e-commerce, fashion, or marketplace businesses is highly preferred. You understand the metrics that drive a two-sided network.
